KATHMANDU, Sept 7: Nepal’s COVID-19 death toll has jumped to 300 with 11 death cases recorded on Monday.
According to Dr Jageshwar Gautam, spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), four females and seven males succumbed to COVID-19 in Nepal in the past 24 hours.
How to help vulnerable groups
The deceased males were each from Morang, Banke, Sarlahi, Dolakha and Makwanpur and two others from Siraha district. Likewise, one female from Kaski and three others from Kathmandu district also succumbed to COVID-19.
As of Monday afternoon, 20 COVID-19 patients are on ventilator and 171 are in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in various hospitals across the nation.
