Nepal enters semifinal of Bangabandhu Gold Cup

KATHMANDU, Jan 15: Nepal has entered into the semifinal of Bangabandhu Gold Cup football tournament before its last fixture against Bangladesh. Nepal’s semifinal entry was confirmed after Sri Lanka upset Felda FC of Malaysia 2-1 during their last group match on Friday.

Nepal had played a goalless draw against Felda in the inaugural match and defeated Sri Lanka 1-0.

Host Bangladesh is the other team to make into semifinal. The last match between Nepal and host is scheduled for 6:15 NST will determine the group winner.
