Dr Koirala was tested positive for COVID-19 last week
KATHMANDU, Sept 16: Nepali Congress (NC) General Secretary Dr Shashank Koirala, who was tested positive for the coronavirus diseases (COVID-19) last week, has been admitted to Om Hospital in Chabahil for further treatment.

Dr Koirala had been staying at home in isolation after he was diagnosed with COVID-19. Sources close to Dr Koirala's family said he was taken to Om Hospital after he experienced high fever Tuesday evening.
Dr Koirala’s health condition is stable and improving gradually, according to the hospital sources. Dr Koirala had undergone treatment at Om Hospital five years ago when he fell unconscious due to pneumonia.
