NC clinches mayoral post in Nagarjun municipality

KATHMANDU, May 19: Nepali Congress candidate Mohan Basnet has won the mayoral election for NAgarjun Municipality. Chalise has secured 6961 votes.

KATHMANDU, May 19: Nepali Congress candidate Mohan Basnet has won the mayoral election for Nagarjun Municipality. Chalise has secured 6961 votes.

His closest rival UML candidate Krishna Hari Khatri has garnered 6726 votes.

Likewise, for the deputy mayoral post, UML candidate Shushila Adhikari has won with 6871 votes while NC candidate Kalyani Khadka scored 6791 votes.
