Total 176 players of eight teams including five of five development regions, departmental teams of Nepal Army, Nepal Police and Armed Police Force will participate in the three-day championship, informed Association's Secretary RK Bista.
Number of male and female players will be equal in the sports event where 22 from each team will contest.
The competition will be for total 36 gold medals including 18 each for male and female category. The operational cost of the event is estimated to be Rs 1.5 million, said the organizer.
The event is taking place at Dasharath Stadium in Tripureswor.
