Narayanghat-Mugling road to be closed four hours a day for one...
Vehicular movement will be halted from Piplamod towards Nagdhunga and the Pokharebhir area. The Road Project has urged the public to use alternative routes during this period.
Small and medium-sized vehicles may use the Sitapaila–Bhimdhunga–Ramkot–Dharke road section. Similarly, the Samakhusi–Tokha–Chhahare–Galchhi route, as well as the Jarekhet–Trishuli–Ghatbesi Bridge route, may be used as alternatives.
Upgrading work on the Nagdhunga–Naubise section of the Tribhuvan Highway is nearing completion following blacktopping.
Project engineer Keshav Ojha said the road section would be partially closed as very heavy equipment and supplies need to be mobilised simultaneously, which could increase the risk of accidents.
