NA carries out blasts at Ramdi to open road track (WIth Video)

PALPA, June 15: Nepal Army has carried out blasts at the Akkare Mountain area which lies at Ramdi along the Kaligandaki Corridor Highway. NA is planning to complete tasks of opening the track  from Ramdi to Dapurk of highway within mid-July.

According to Guru Prasad Adhikari, chief of the project, a support from the Nepal Army was taken for the blasts to open track of 400 metres due to rock in the area.

The 377-km-long Kaligandaki Highway would connect Sunauli in the south to Koralla, the Nepal-Tibet border in Mustang district.

Som Prasad Pandey, lawmaker from Palpa-2, informed that the tasks of road extension would be accelerated. After the completion of the road, it would connect northern part of the country with the south directly.
