Nidhi said that the establishment of the republic was due to the various negative consequences of the monarchy. He claimed that the federal republic is the most advanced political system in the world. People do not want any form of monarchy and monarchy will not be reinstated. We are ready to do whatever it takes for this, he added.
“The system we have brought was not given as a donation; we have introduced the system of federalism and republic in Nepal to enable the sovereign people to exercise their rights,” he said.
Lawmaker Nidhi also emphasized the need to amend the constitution to empower the provinces. He stated that federal laws must be enacted immediately to implement federalism effectively.
