Tweeting on Monday morning, Rawal said that not meeting Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi during Prachanda's visit to Delhi was naive, disrespectful and unrefined diplomacy.

Rawal wrote, “In high-level visits, meetings and topics are determined in advance. Pushpa Kamal Dahal himself was heard saying that he could not meet the Indian Prime Minister at the end during his visit to Delhi. How naive, disrespectful and unrefined diplomacy! Let's protect Nepal's politics and diplomacy from this trend!”
