In the men´s 10 meter air pistol, Mid-western Region bagged gold with 1613 points out of 1800. The team comprises Ansari brothers Badrudin, Abdul Bahid and Arsad Kha. Nepal Army with 1604 and Central Region with 1581 secured second and third places respectively. [break]
In women´s shooting event, Nepal Army bagged the first position with 1002 points while Mid-western Region and Nepal Police secured second and third positions respectively despite having equal 994 points on the basis of points scored in the last series.
Similarly, Eastern Region bagged gold in men´s 10 meter air rifle scoring 1641 points out of 1800. Mid-western Region with 1596 points and Nepal Army with 1582 points finished second and third respectively. In women´s same competition, Central Region, Nepal Police and Nepal Army secured top three spots respectively.
Meanwhile, top eight players’ lineup to compete in individual category has also been decided. Top eight individual players in both men´s and women´s section will compete in singles event. The singles event will be held on Friday.
