Minister Pun tells officials to be cost effective

KATHMANDU, Feb 12: Finance Minister Barshaman Pun has directed division heads and department heads at the ministry to carry out their duties in a coordinated way to achieve concrete results.



Minister Pun gave the directive to the officials during a regular review meeting held at the ministry on Sunday. [break]



He also instructed to carry out tax investigation works in a cost-effective way. “(The investigation) operations should be designed in such a way that requires minimum input and gives maximum output,” he said.



On the occasion, he expressed satisfaction over the functioning of the departments and divisions in recent times.
