Stressing that all the concerned agencies of the country should move ahead in a coordinated way to bring about forward-looking change in the country, Minister Pun further said civil service employees should build close and friendly relations with citizens so as to make the foundation of democratic system and culture stronger in the changed context.

The present government is moving ahead with commitment to build a new Nepal, he claimed, adding it has adopted the policy of granting award and punishment on the basis of honesty, diligence, ethics and working efficiency of employees.

Finance Minister Pun also asked employees to work with high confidence within the legal framework as the government takes the entire responsibility of the security of civil service employees.

Finance Secretary Krishna Hari Baskota said as the FACO is the main and important agency for the fiscal management of the government the Finance Ministry is ready to extend all types of assistances such as infrastructure development and capacity building of employees.
