RUPANDEHI, Aug 30: Mayor of Lumbini Sanskritik municipality, Sajaruddin Musalman, passed away this morning due to a cardiac arrest. He had been battling with heart disease, according to the family source. He was 73.

His last rites will be conducted at a local Kabristan (Maqbara) at 5 PM today as per family traditions, according to municipality coordinator Tulsiram Lamichhane.
Musalman was elected to the post of mayor representing the Nepali Congress.
