The song “Manis Thulo Dil Le Hunxa” from Laxmi Prasad Devkota’s poem ‘Muna Madan’ is going to be developed into a song-movie.

The organizers of a press conference in the capital on Tuesday said that the popular song will be converted into a movie. The film is being made by Saurpani Media Pvt Ltd. Speaking at the press conference, producer Mani Nepali Paneru said that there is a happy story in the film that two children of different castes have been very close to each other since childhood and later get separated but suddenly meet in a rehearsal. Paneru said that the song was inspired by the movie Muna Madan but the story of Muna Madan will not remain in the movie.
The film will be starring Avinash Neupane, Shreya Karki, Mohan Niraula, Uttam KC, Saru Sunuwar, Shubham Acharya and Savina Neupane. The film will be edited by Vikas Dahal and produced by Mani Nepali Paneru. The film will be shot by Utsav Dahal and directed by Devendra Pandey.
