Police reportedly seized three pieces of gelatin, three detonators and a battery from Tamang.
Police said that a team from Metropolitan Police Sector Lainchaur had arrested Tamang from Nayabazaar when he was suspiciously carrying a black bag. The motive of carrying explosives is not made clear.
