BHAKTAPUR, Jan 5: A man in Bhaktapur has died after committing suicide using an advanced firearm at his home.
40-year-old Sanip Chamling Rai, a resident of Raitol, Madhyapur Thimi-6, shot himself in the neck with a black GS5 German gun inside his locked room on Monday at 3:34 PM.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police have launched an investigation into the incident. Chamling was unmarried.
According to police source, the gun is licensed under his brother-in-law, who is a former British Gorkha soldier.
