Police have arrested Abdul Rain, 25, of Bhathihan-2, on Saturday acting on a complaint filed by his 18-year-old wife Sunita. Sunita, who is pregnant following their marriage three months ago, was injured in the attack.
Police say Abdul has admitted to attacking Sunita. But he accused Sunita of keeping an illicit relationship with another man.
