Man arrested for setting wife on fire

UDAYAPUR, Jan 20: A man has been arrested on the charge of attempting to murder his wife by setting her on fire.

District Police Office, Udayapur said Dhanshyam Chaudhary, 45, of Tapeshwori-1 was arrested for the crime.

DSP Om Rana said Chaudhary set his wife Nainadevi ablaze after sprinkling petrol over a domestic spat around 8 am on Wednesday.

Nainadevi has suffered serious burn injuries below her waist.
