KATHMANDU, May 14: A parliamentary delegation from Malaysia, led by Senator Dr. Mohd Hatta Bin Md Ramli, is currently on an official visit to Nepal to promote inter-parliamentary cooperation and deepen bilateral relations.
The delegation includes Rodziah Binti Ismail and Datuk Larry Sng Wei Shien, both Members of the Malaysian Parliament. The visit reflects the shared commitment of both nations to fostering mutual understanding and collaboration through parliamentary diplomacy.

To honor the visiting delegates, Secretary General of the Inter-Parliamentary Speakers’ Conference, Ek Nath Dhakal, hosted a dinner reception at The Dwarika’s Hotel in Kathmandu on Wednesday. The event provided an opportunity for informal dialogue and cultural exchange, further enhancing goodwill between the two countries.
Chairman of Nepal Republic Media Limited Binod Raj Gyawali and President of Federation of Women Entrepreneurs' Association of Nepal (FWEAN) Shova Gyawali were among those present on the occasion.
The visit of the Malaysian parliamentary delegation is expected to contribute to strengthening bilateral ties and promoting greater collaboration in areas of mutual interest including governance, development and regional cooperation.
