KATHMANDU, March 17: A bill to amend some Nepal Acts related to promotion of good governance and delivery of public services has been passed by a majority of lawmakers of the lower House.
A meeting of the House of Representatives on Monday passed the bill by a majority after nearly four-hour of debate and a division of votes. Out of the 145 MPs present at the meeting, 96 voted in favor of the bill, while 49 opposed it.
Where there is government, there is corruption!

During the meeting, Ganesh Parajuli, an MP from the Rastriya Swatantra Party, representing the opposition, stated that the government had ignored the amendments proposed by them and called for a decision through a vote.
