KATHMANDU, Sept 1: Nainsingh Mahar, a central member of the ruling Nepali Congress (NC), has been recommended as a candidate from Kailali constituency number 4.
Mahar has been recommended for the elections to the federal parliament to be held on November 20. He has been recommended as a candidate for the House of Representatives.

Similarly, the NC Kailali Constituency 4 Committee has recommended Sunil Kumar Bhandari, Prakash Bam, Bhojraj Bhatta, Pradeep Raj Joshi and Lakshmi Raj Pathak as the candidates for the House of Representatives elections along with Mahar.
In 2064 BS and 2074 BS, Lekhraj Bhatta of the then Maoist party was elected from this constituency, and in 2070 BS, Dhirga Raj Bhatta was elected from the NC. Lekhraj Bhatta is now in CPN-UML.
