KATHMANDU, Dec 11: Lumbini Lions have reached the final of Nepal Premier League (NPL) 2025, defeating Biratnagar Kings by 40 runs.
With a win in the second qualifier of the ongoing NPL match held at TU International Cricket Ground on Thursday, Lumbini Lions has secured its position in the final match that will take place on 13 December. Lumbini Lions will face Sudurpaschim Royals in the final of the second edition of the NPL.

Winning a toss, Biratnagar Kings invited Lumbini Lions to bat first. In response, Lumbini secured 134 runs for a loss of eight wickets in 20 overs. Opener D’Arcy Short and Captain Rohit Poudel had partnership for 69 runs.
Chasing the modest target, Biratnagar however performed poorly in the opening. In the powerplay, the team made only 28 runs for a loss of three wickets. Sam Heazlett secured the highest of 34 runs for Biratnagar.
