KATHMANDU, Jan 16: The existing load-shedding duration has been increased to 14 hours daily effective from Monday.

The power outage hours will now be 14 hours a day for five days a week and 12 hours the remaining two days, the Nepal Electricity Authority has said. [break]

The NEA said the load-shedding hours had to be increased due to decrease in water levels in the rivers.
