TAPLEJUNG, March 9: A woman has died after being struck by lightning in Mikwakhola Rural Municipality-4.

The deceased is 32-year-old Dawafuti Sherpa of Mikwakhola Rural Municipality-4, said Police Inspector Kanshinath Regmi of Taplejung District Police Office.
According to him, the lightning struck her while she was eating food in her own house on Thursday night.
