The landslide victims were not provided with the relief when CDO Krishnashyam Budhathoki did not return to the district even after three weeks.

A team from the local administration, District Development Committee, political parties active in the district and stakeholders had visited the site at Chiuri in the last week of August after the village had been in the risk of landslide.

The team had referred to provide the relief after the observation but could not be distributed in the absence of CDO, said Officiating CDO Hari Prasad Sharma.
