CHITWAN, May 17: Senior leader of the CPN (UML), Madhav Kumar Nepal, has said the Dasdhunga incident has been further mysterious with the killing of Amar Lama, the only proof and witness to the incident.

Addressing the 20th Memorial Assembly organized by the UML District Committee, Chitwan, at Dasdhunga on Friday he said, "It has been learnt that the murderers of Amar Lama, the only living witness to Dasdhunga incident, are in the Unified CPN (Maoist). If it is so, the UCPN-Maoist should reply in this regard." [break]

He claimed that Lama was killed as there was the possibility of untangling the mystery of the Dasdhunga incident if he remained alive, adding that it is sad that the guilty of the incident was not found though investigation commissions were formed in government, party and the public level.

Former Prime Minister Nepal, said the CPN-UML has been moving ahead with the ideology introduced by Madan Bhandari and that the Nepali people would not trust other parties other than the UML.

The UML would bring majority in the upcoming Constituent Assembly (CA) elections by defeating those who encourage the politics of trickery.

UML politburo member Nagendra Chaudhary, Central Account Commission Member, JP Bhetwal, UML District Committee Chitwan chairman JN Thapaliya, Vice Chairman Krishna Bhakta Pokhrel, among others, discussed on the contributions of Madan Bhandari and Jivaraj Ashrit.
