Kidnappers in police custody

SANISCHARE,  Aug 4: Local residents have caught and handed four people accused of involvement in kidnapping over to police.



A joint team of Young Communist League and Yuwa Janasurakhya Bal handed over Ashok Rai and Amal Rajbanshi of Mechninagar Municipality and Indian nationals Madhav Sharma and Tuntun Thakur to police.



Those accused had reportedly kidnapped Indian citizen Ashok Karmakar, and looted Rs 20,000 from him, it is learnt.
