Khanal stresses need for unity for constitution's implementation

JHAPA, Feb 22: CPN-UML senior leader and former Prime Minister Jhalnath Khanal has stressed on all-party unity for the implementation of the new constitution. Khanal said uniy among the political forces as shown during the promulgation of the constitution was the need of the hour.

At a news conference here Monday, Khanal urged all political parties to lead the nation towards prosperity. He expressed his confidence that the bilateral ties with India would be normalized soon.
 

Khanal was of the view that the political parties would hold more discussions to resolve the issues related to the delineation of the provinces after Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli returns home from his India visit.

In a separate context, he said that most of the demands of the agitating Tarai-centric parties had been addressed by the constitution and promised to settle the remaining genuine issues through talks. RSS
