Khanal holds talks with British envoy

KATHMANDU, Sept 14: CPN-UML Chairman Jhala Nath Khanal and British Ambassador John Tuknut held talks on the latest political situation and bilateral relations between the two countries at UML party headquarters in Balkhu Tuesday.



After the meeting, Khanal said that they discussed relations between the two countries and continuity of British aid to Nepal.[break]



The British envoy expressed his concern over the snail´s pace peace process and constitution-writing and stressed for forging consensus to end the present political impasse, said Khanal.



Envoy Tuknut said he had come to Nepal to support the peace process in Nepal and added that he was happy to see consensus among the parties about the UNMIN´s term extension.
