Khadka of the Sher Bahadur Deuba faction defeated Ishwor Manandhar of the establishment faction. Khadka got 356 votes, while Manandhar received 233 votes.
Election was held again on Sunday after no candidates garnered majority in the poll held on Saturday. Four candidates were in the race for chairmanship on Saturday. Two of them withdrew their candidacies today.
Likewise, Santosh Rimal got elected secretary defeating Rameshwor Upreti. Rimal got 368 votes, while Upreti received 218 votes.
Similarly, Krishna Gopal KC got elected treasurer.
