The event was organized with a view to continue Kanjirowa's culture of nurturing and promoting creative skills among students, reads a statement issued by the school.Selected arts and photographs from inter-school and college level competition were displayed during the exhibitions, which saw the participation from students of 20 different schools and colleges.
Nima Dorgee Gurung from Bijeshwori School secured the first position in the competiton. Anushka Shrestha from Malpi Institute and Pratigya Dangi from Kanjirowa secured the second and third positions respectively. The top three position holders were awarded with certificates and cash prizes of Rs 5000, Rs3000 and Rs2000 respectively.
In order to encourage students to get involved in art and photography, the best 30 paintings and photographs from this competition will be exhibited in Angelo State University, Texas, USA in the last week of October, adds the statement.
