INSEC provides financial support for treatment of journo Jha

MORANG, Dec  29: The Biratnagar-based regional office of Informal Sector Service Centre (INSEC) has provided financial support for the treatment of journalist Abadesh Kumar Jha.

Journalist Jha was injured after police manhandled him in course of news reporting of Madhes-centric parties' rally at Mahabir Chowk in Biratnagar five days ago.


INSEC provided Rs 15,000 from its journalist security fund to support the treatment of Jha, Eastern Regional Coordinator of INSEC Somraj Thapa said.

Likewise, Chairman of Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) Morang Chapter Mahendra Bista, Central Committee Vice-Chairman of Nepal Press Union Lilaballav Ghimire and human rights activist Dipen Neupane inquired about the health condition of journalist Jha by reaching latter's residence on Monday.
