KATHMANDU, March 16: Vigil and protest were held today at Maitighar Mandala in Kathmandu against the murder of Inisha BK, who was allegedly gang-raped.
Protesters marched with slogans demanding justice, including “Give justice to Inisha” and “Hang the rapists.” The demonstration was organized by the Dalit Gen-Z Alliance.

BK, a permanent resident of Gurbhakot Municipality-6 in Surkhet, who had been living in Birendranagar Municipality-1, was found unconscious in the Janjagaran Community Forest on the morning of March 7. She was rushed to the Provincial Hospital, where doctors pronounced her dead.
Surkhet police have arrested four individuals in connection with the case. The victim’s family alleges that she was gang-raped and murdered, and they continue to demand justice.
