KATHMANDU, Feb 20: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has welcomed Prime Minister of Nepal KP Sharma Oli with a guard of honor at the Rashtrapati Bhawan in New Delhi on Saturday.
Apart from holding a meeting with Modi at Hyderabad House, Oli is scheduled to call on Indian President Pranab Mukherjee, Vice-President Hamid Ansari, and various other leaders and top officials in the Indian capital.
Indian PM Narendra Modi conferred Guard of Honor
After lunch at Hyderabad House, Prime Minister Oli will interact with various Indian ministers and top officials at the same place, said an official at the Embassy of Nepal in New Delhi. The prime minister is scheduled to call on Indian President Mukherjee at 6 pm at the latter's office. Before that, he will call on Indian Vice-President Hamid Ansari at 5 pm. Oli embarked on his six-day state visit to India on Friday at the invitation of Indian Prime Minister Modi.
