Indian, Chinese ambassadors call on PM

KATHMANDU, June 16: Ambassadors from India and China for Nepal, Manjeev Singh Puri and Ms Yu Hong respectively today called on Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, separately at the Office of Prime Minister and Council of Ministers at Singha Durbar.

The meeting between the Prime Minister and the Indian Ambassador focused on further consolidating the mutual interests and bilateral relations existing between the two neighbours.


Likewise, the meeting with the Chinese Ambassador was, too, focused on the discussions about further strengthening the bilateral relations and mutual cooperation, the OPMCM said.

These are the first meetings of the ambassadors with Prime Minister Deuba since he was elected to the post. RSS
