KATHMANDU, March 17:  India and Pakistan on Thursday held a ‘breakfast meeting’ on the sidelines of the 37th South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) Council of Ministers' meeting in Pokhara.

Indian Minister for External Affairs Sushma Swaraj and Foreign affairs adviser for Pakistan Prime Minister, Sartaj Aziz held a brief talk at Fishtail Lodge in the Lake City while having breakfast this morning.

Both the sides had held a conversation on Wednesday too.

The two sides are preparing to meet again at 4 pm this afternoon after conclusion of the minister-level meeting.

Sources close to the development said the meet will be continuation to the ‘breakfast meet’.

It is likely that the terror attack at Pathankot airbase of Indian Air force will surface during the talks.

Earlier talking to journalist, Aziz had remarked that Pakistan is ready for talks on varied issues including the attack.

Some 15 persons including seven Indian Army personnel were killed in the attack at the airbase some three months ago. The relation between the two countries has worsened following the incident.
