Indefinite educational institute closure withdrawn

KANCHANPUR, Sept 20: Different teachers´ unions have withdrawn the indefinite educational institutions shutdown that they had called for after the UCPN (Maoist) and the All Nepal National Independent Students´ Union (Revolutionary) agreed to compensate the schools.



The office-bearers of ANNISU-R had vandalized the Florida Higher Secondary School and the Prabhat Vidya Niketan school four days back for refusing to give them money as donation.[break]



The decision comes after the representatives of the UCPN (Maoist) and the ANNISU-R offered apology and agreed to provide compensation to the school damaged by their cadres at an all-party meeting organized at the District Administration Office here on Wednesday.



The teachers unions had shutdown the educational institutions since Monday calling for action against those involved in vandalism.
