KATHMANDU, Feb 21: People from the Sherpa community are celebrating Gyalpo Lhosar ‘Tibetan New Year’ on the premises of the Boudhanath stupa. They perform ‘Kora’ around the Boudhanath Stupa in their cultural dress on the occasion of the Ghyalpo Lhosar.

They are visiting monasteries and receiving blessings from Rinpoche (Buddhist guru) and also from the elderly members of their families.
