ICC U-19 World Cup: Bangladesh confirmed Nepal's QF opponent

KATHMANDU, Feb 2: Nepal has got Bangladesh as the opponent in the quarterfinal of the ICC U-19 World Cup to be played at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur on Friday.

The opponent was confirmed after Bangladesh outplayed Namibia by eight wickets in its last match of the Group A. Bangladesh finished top of the group, while Nepal is runner-up of the Group D.

Nepal beat New Zealand and Ireland but faced defeat against India that finished top of the group winning all three matches. Nepal and Bangladesh have faced once in the youth world cup with Nepal beating Bangladesh by 23 runs in 2002.
