The participating teams include defending champions Ranipokhari Corner Team (RCT), hosts DFC, Three Star Club, Nepal Police Club, Armed Police Force (APF), Himalayan Sherpa Club, Workers Martyrs Memorial Club (WMMC), Sahara Club, Jhapa Football Association, MFC and Manang Marshyangdi Club (MMC) and Namchi Football Club of Sikkim.
The winners and the runners up will bag a purse of Rs 200,000 and Rs 100,000 respectively.
Looking bag at history, Police Club is the most successful team of the event with four trophies to their name out of 12 editions held so far. Three Star a close rival has lifted the trophy three times.
