Playing for the Melbourne Renegades in the Big Bash League (BBL), Gayle took just 12 balls to complete his 50 runs and equaled the world record set by India’s Yuvraj Singh 9 years ago.
But Gayle’s Indian friend Yuvraj, whose record he matched, filled in the void with a tweet. Surprisingly, Yuvraj, in his tweet, expressed disappointment that Gayle couldn’t break his record.
