KATHMANDU, June 8: The Hello Sarkar, a hotline established with an aim to record the grievances of the general public, has now taken a step further by going online with the start of a Facebook page.

Chief Secretary Lilamani Poudyal officially launched the facebook page amidst a press conference held at the Office of Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers on Monday.

The citizens can now post their grievances and advises on the facebook page www.facebook.com/hellosarkar.np. Poudyal said the public can now post their grievances and suggestions on the page. The general public is encouraged to mention the concerned government authority while filing their complaints which would make it easier for the government to initiate action. The government has urged the people to clearly mention the related work, service, office and the individual with whom they have grievances rather than complaining on the policy level.

Secretary at the Office of PM and the Council of Ministers Shantaraj Subedi said the new venture would help build up confidence between the people and the government.

The Hello Sarkar had been providing the people the facility of a toll-free number 1111 and SMS service for seeking grievances. RSS
