KATHMANDU, March 29: A habeas corpus petition has been filed at the Supreme Court (SC) demanding the immediate release of former prime minister KP Sharma Oli.
The petition was registered by his wife Radhika Shakya, claiming that Oli is being held in unlawful detention.

According to SC assistant spokesperson Nirajan Pandey, Shakya personally appeared at the court on Sunday to file the petition, urging the court to order his immediate release.
