Gurung, 78, who is suffering from different diseases including diabetes and Parkinson's, is undergoing treatment at Medanta Hospital, Delhi for the past one month.
Born in 1938 in Darjeeling, Gurung was referred to Medanta Hospital by Grande Hospital in Kathmandu.
Around Rs two million has been estimated for the treatment of Gurung, said singer Komal Oli, quoting musician Manikamal Chhetri as saying. RSS
