KATHMANDU, April 5: Himalayan Bank Limited (HBL) and Shikhar Insurance Company Ltd (SICL) have entered into an agreement for 'Bancassurance Service'.

Issuing a statement, the bank said that it's CEO Ashoke SJB Rana and Dip Prakash Panday, CEO of SICL, signed the agreement at a function held on Tuesday.
"As per the agreement, the bank shall facilitate non-life insurance service to the people as a corporate agent of Shikhar Insurance Co Ltd," reads the statement.
