KATHMANDU, Feb 21: Hamro Patro, the digital application widely used for checking Nepali calendar. has introduced a new feature that allows users to purchase event tickets directly from the Hamro Patro mobile application.

Users can now buy tickets using multiple options for payment methods. In addition to HamroPay, they can also use Mobile Banking and Connect IPS. According to the press release, this feature makes the payment process even more convenient by freeing users from relying on a single payment platform.
CEO of HamroPay Shishir Pokharel said “From now on, it will be easy to purchase tickets for different events through the Hamro Patro platform, which will help bridge the gap between event organizers and audiences. We are excited to offer ticket purchasing services through HamroPay, as well as via Mobile Banking and Connect IPS”.
As one of its first offerings for online ticket sales, the app has already made available the tickets for the “John and The Locals – Live Concert,” scheduled for February 24 in Phidim, Panchthar. This event will be held at the Phidim Secondary School playground, where John and The Locals (JATL)- renowned for their performances both at home and abroad- will take the stage.
Ticket prices for the concert range from Rs 400 to Rs 5,000. Additionally, users who purchase tickets through HamroPay will receive an instant 5 percent cashback, the press release said
