As per the latest updates made available by the Ministry of Home Affairs, of the dead, 4,771 are women and 3,887 are men and one is yet to be identified.
It's been a month since the country was struck by the massive earthquake, also known as Gorkha earthquake, with its epicenter at Barpak, Gorkha and several aftershocks including two powerful ones on April 26 and May 12.
Similarly, the number of the injured has been counted at 21,952. Some 500,717 public houses were completely and 269,190 partially damaged in the earthquakes. RSS
