Gold that was said to be 100 kg weighs 60.716 kg: NRB

KATHMANDU, Aug 15: The Mint Division of Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has announced on Tuesday that the gold that was recovered from a taxi outside the Tribhuvan International Airport by the Department of Revenue Investigation now weighs 60.716 kg after being melted.

KATHMANDU, Aug 15: The Mint Division of Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has announced on Tuesday that the gold that was recovered from a taxi outside the Tribhuvan International Airport by the Department of Revenue Investigation now weighs 60.716 kg after being melted.


According to the Mint Division, the melted gold has been formed into 34 biscuit-shaped pieces.

Earlier on Monday, the Mint Division said that the gold extracted from the brake shoe weighed 60.789 kg.
