KATHMANDU, Jan 26: Gold and silver prices in the local market reached record levels today.
On Monday, gold jumped by Rs 5,200 per tola in a single day, reaching Rs 309,000 per tola, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.

Similarly, silver also rose by Rs 285 per tola, trading at Rs 6,765 per tola.
On Sunday, gold was priced at Rs 303,800 per tola, while silver stood at Rs 6,480 per tola.
