KATHMANDU, Nov 3: The price of gold remained stable at Rs 239,700 per tola on Monday. Compared to Friday, the first trading day of the week saw an increase of Rs 700, maintaining the revised rate.
Last Wednesday, gold prices had dropped to Rs 236,300 per tola and remained unchanged on Thursday. On Friday, the price surged by Rs 2,700 per tola. Continuing the upward trend, gold rose by Rs 700 this Monday.

Meanwhile, silver increased by Rs 5 per tola, with the trading price fixed at Rs 3,060, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association. Silver had dropped by Rs 5 on Friday, settling at Rs 3,055 per tola on Sunday.
In the international market, both gold and silver saw a rise on Monday. Gold was trading at USD 4,006.74 per ounce, while silver stood at USD 48.81 per ounce. On Sunday, gold was priced at USD 4,002.93 per ounce and silver at USD 48.68.
